On the Edges, On the Margins, is very personal exploration of a nomadic childhood constantly spent on the edges and margins of communities, societies and cultures, of never belonging, never fitting in. The focus of each piece is the edge, the margin, sometimes the wearer has to work hard to find it, but that’s what elevates each piece from the merely ordinary. I encourages the wearer to look beyond the center, look at what’s happening out there at the edges, at the margins, for that’s where some of the most interesting, fascinating and worthwhile ideas, designs and people are.
