The Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia in Rome holds an extraordinary collection of Etruscan and pre-Roman treasures, along with an extensive collection of jewels created by the Castellani family during the 1800s and early 1900s. They specialized in jewels inspired by or copies of ones that were excavated from the necropolises of Etruria in Pompei and Herculaneum. Other Castellani jewels are held by The Vatican, Capitoline Museum and the Artistic-Industria Museum of Rome.

Inspired by both the original Etruscan and Castellani jewels, this marquise aquamarine is edged with our signature graduated gold and platinum granulation. A similarly granulated bail completes the charm.

Handmade using recycled 22k yellow gold and platinum and a Brazilian aquamarine (4.66ctw). Length approximately 34 mm, width 14mm (L 1.34in W .5in).

One-of-a-kind.
