The Mythical Gardens collection is inspired by the mythologies of antiquity. This is our selection of mythological charms and pendants, often symbols of abundance, fertility, protection and the harvest, and sometimes representing earthly pleasures, like overindulgence and temptation. The rich and complex civilizations and cultures of ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome are among our sources of inspiration.

The crocodile was inspired by its namesake found on one of the four faces of the Signet Ring of Horemheb, the last Pharaoh of Egypt's 18th Dynasty. Handmade in recycled 22k yellow gold and Ataléia rock crystal from Brazil, Kenyan tsavorite garnets (.30ctw), the chain is approximately 40.5 cm or 16 in long. One-of-a-kind.

The carvings on this seal are taken from the decorative margins around on the pages of medieval illuminated manuscripts held at the Getty Museum.
