The oversize granulation found along the edges of some Viking buckles was the inspiration for the mine charms. Each charm is unique, the granulation and tiny gemstone combination carefully considered to compliment and highlight the beautiful gem. Cabochons are selected because of their soft glow, that beautifully works with the rich, buttery mellow tones of the gold and the discreet platinum glimmer. These "mines" are truly one-of-a-kind.
