The beautiful mint green and black oval tablet style cabochons in these stud earrings are garnets - grossular garnets from East Africa - and they don't usually look like this. However, the colors were so vivid, and the feathery patterning so striking, that I simply had to have them. Delicately granulated circular rondelles cradle metallic, bubble-gum pink spinel, asymmetrically set on each garnet, providing an unexpected yet harmonious blend of ancient technique and modern design. The use of warm, buttery 22k gold enhances the beauty of the mint and black. These "bursting with color" studs flatter every complexion and hair color, making them very versatile.
Perfect with summer shorts and a linen shirt, crisp button down, your favorite cashmere sweater or dress. Length approximately 16mm, width 15mm (L .6in W .59in).
Made from recycled 18k and 22k yellow gold, grossular garnet (21.4ctw) and Burmese spinel (.34ctw).
One-of-a-kind.
