The beautiful mint green and black oval tablet cabochons in these stud earrings are garnets - grossular garnets from East Africa - and they don't usually look like this. However, the colors were so vivid, and the feathery patterning so striking, that I simply had to have them.
Delicately granulated circular rondelles cradle metallic, bubble-gum pink spinel and egg yolk yellow sapphires, asymmetrically set on almost round "roval" and oval garnets, providing an unexpected yet harmonious blend of ancient technique and modern design. The rich, warm gold enhances the beauty of the mint and black. These "bursting with color" studs flatter every complexion and hair color, making them very versatile.
