Inspired by the goldsmiths of antiquity, who used gold granules of different sizes to paint scenes and tableaux on their work, this variation on the classic stud earring has the silky appearance of a velvet cushion. The gold is smooth and almost soft to the touch, giving an almost hypnotic feel to the fingertips. The rich, buttery mellow tone of the yellow gold soften the bold, angular and contemporary lines of the custom cut rock crystal cubes and the glittering blue zircons provide a vivid pop of color.
