Pyramid design has always fascinated me, with step pyramids being found across the world with the pre-Colombian civilizations of Mesoamerica (Mayan, Aztec and Toltec cultures) being the most prolific builders of them. In Mesopotamia they were known as ziggurats.
This modern-day ziggurat (or step pyramid) features a custom cut bi-color mint green and palest pastel pink tourmaline cube topped with a golden step pyramid. The buttery gold pyramid seems to float above the colored cube, blending the ancient and new. Length approximately 23mm, W 8.5mm (L .9in W .3in).
Made with recycled 22k yellow gold and Brazilian tourmaline (8.8ctw). The chain is available separately.
