One-of-a-kind signet kite shaped ring featuring a rich and light filled Moyo Gems rhodolite garnet (1.19ct) with a beautiful deep pinkish purple glow. The kite shape is reminiscent of a bird in flight, soaring in the sky. The kite's edges are highlighted by graduated platinum and yellow gold granulation, leading the eye in the direction of flight along and upwards off the wearer's hand. A soft, parchment like texture gives the ring band a soft, papery feel and the appearance of the pile on a velvet cushion.
Made in recycled 22k yellow gold and platinum. Size 7.
Moyo Gems is an ethical gemstone collaboration born in Tanzania that works with female artisanal gem miners in the Umba Valley to assure rubies, sapphires, tourmalines, garnets, citrines and amethysts from mine to market. They work to empower women miners to work safely, mine better, improve financial security and create stable, equitable markets for fairtrade. We are pleased to purchase their gems, along with others that have been artisanally mined in Tanzania and Kenya, from Anza Gems.
