A single brushed Mesopotamian style gold bead sprinkled with orange sapphires, rubies and pink spinel, is a perfect foil for the opals.  An intricate Byzantine style filigree decorative rondelle, set on each side with Colombian emerald and pink spinel, completes the necklace.
