One-of-a-kind hand carved rock crystal charm depicting Pegasus the winged horse. This carving was inspired by the images struck on the famed Pegasus silver staters of Corinth. Legend tells us that Bellepheron, who became king of Corinth, tamed Pegasus with the help of a golden bridle given to him by Athena, hence Pegasus appears on many of the coins of Corinth and her colonies.
Made in recycled 22k yellow gold and Ataléia rock crystal from Brazil. Length approximately 30mm W 21mm (L 1.2in W .8in).
